Process of getting accepted by Wikia,, it is not like Wetpaint as editing is text based very similar to wikipedia if any of edited a page on that. | | The state of Deadfords by Brewedenhell 12th February 2009 | Deadford's has almost made it a year.
However, I'm seriously thinking about taking down the site or moving it to another wiki site. after thinking about this issue for many months, and of course especially over the past 24 hours. I've come to the conclusion that I am going to stop updating the site as from now. For many reason mainly for the lack of interest of other members, wetpaint being more of a chore to work around (adding tables and making it look good and then it gliches and we loose all the work we invested into that edit.) EasyEdit I think not and wetpaint admins sending me emails telling me some content uses bad language daily.
I don't have the time or energy to keep investing my time into managing the site and trying to encourage other members to participate in the sites content.
This is open to discussion but I'm going to look for a alternative wiki site that serves the same purpose allowing member to edit within the browser. I love some of the content some of you have added especially Lady Soha's artwork plus it has served as a platform for me to post my work.

| Black Mesa TrailerBack in 2004, after Half-life 2 was released some of you might remember Half-Life Source where Valve ported the original Half-life into the new Source engine. However this was not a graphical update some of us hoped for so a small team began crafting a mod that would have the latest in graphical bells and whistles. Come 2008, it's still in development, and the Black Mesa team has produced a trailer of its work.

New templates have been made to give the whole site a certain theme like this front page, with some pages but not all pages getting the new look.
I recently done a benchmark report on Far Cry 2, that tests whether updated drivers improve performance, does defragging you hard drive help and by how much.
Another addition to the site and will be on going is tutorials on photoshop.
Coming soon will be Best of You Tube, where members post their favs for all to view. | | Call of Patches by Brewedenhell 12th November 08 | | Call of Duty first patch of many For any of you that have the latest Call of Duty: World at War, there is a patch released that fixes several annoying things, some me and other members experienced in Beta.
Like being kicked from a server with G_Spawn: no free entities, the recon plane in hardcore mode actually show enemies on the HUD and apperently improvements on spawn locations, weapon damage balancing.

TF2 & Portal Update 5th May 08 | | More News found in Archived News | | | | | Deadford’s is a small community of a network of friends that reside in a town known as Bedford, we are a misfit bunch of people with our own interest’s and hobbies with the only common ground being that we are gamers.
Each member has there own section, this includes their profile and relevant things about that member for example artwork, tutorials on photoshop, Airsoft gear, benchmarks and xfire skins. Underneath the member pages are common interests starting with Guess the ??? which is our own quiz section, Computer Games, Airsoft more will be added as time goes on.
The site is fairly new and most pages are still work in progress, we are currently changing the site look.

There is 8 tests currently available, with 6 tests in guess the game, look closely at screenshots from games and test your game knowledge. One test in guess the music by looking at lyrics and a test in Anime by looking at stills.

Under our games list, we have found this great free game called Frets on Fire, this game is like a clone to Guitar Hero, but with tons of benefits you can download almost any popular song then play to it, make your own and with it being highly modifiable, there are lots of mods out for it adding features like two player.

Wetpaint has just over 1 Million wiki sites. Each week wetpaint compile a list of the top 500 sites and as of August 21st we came in at 203 out of the million so way to go all members for making this site what it is
